HAMP CREWis a unique team comprising over 100 students from a variety of schools, including: Northampton High, JFK, Amherst Regional, Hampshire Regional, Easthampton High, Longmeadow High, and Williston Northampton. HAMP CREW offers competitive teams in the fall, winter, spring, and summer and competes in a range of venues. We are recognized as a varsity sport at both Northampton High and Williston Northampton School in both the fall and spring semesters.

Who Can Join?
HAMP CREW Youth Programs are open to rowers of all ability levels from ages 12 to 18. Although we are called Northampton High Crew, any public high school student in the area and Williston Northampton School students may join us. As long as you can make it to practice on time and meet our attendance requirements you are more them welcome to join the team. Limited transportation is provided from Williston and Northampton High.

Attendance Requirement
Good attendance is crucial to safety and maximum learning. Rowers must attend a minimum of 80% of practices and regattas. If you can not make this commitment please consider a summer camp.

Parental Involvement
We rely heavily on our parents and friends to run fund raisers, transport athletes to regattas, and provide a food table with healthy choices for the rowers. We count on the volunteering spirit of our rowers and their families.
