NYCRI offers a variety of youth summer programs

Youth Learn to Row - Click on session to register
Our two week Learn-To-Row camps are geared toward kids of all ages and athletic ability. Held twice a summer, these programs are designed to be an introduction to the sport of rowing. Camp includes rowing and coxing technique as well as water safety, boat handling and physical conditioning. The session culminates with an island picnic on the river. Space is limited to 30 rowers, so sign up early.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary.

Youth Skills Camp *NEW*
Our Skills Camp is a one week camp focusing on technical improvement and basic understanding of the stroke. Video, erging, and an introduction to strength training will be utilized. Youth Skills Camp is recommended for middle school and freshman rowers or anyone moving from Novice to Varsity.

Summer Competitive Team - Click on session to register
HAMP CREW now offers a summer competitive team. Rowers will be building strength, training for races, and learning small boat handling. Starting later in the day, it accommodates the “teenage schedule." Participants will be able to work, row, and sleep.

Price: $160 per session (two sessions recommended)
includes registration for New England regattas only. There is an extra cost for Canadian Henley

Varsity Preseason
Our Preseason Camp is open to rowers from any high school crew. Focus will be on technical understanding of the stroke while working to improve rowers physical conditioning for the upcoming season. It is highly recommended for those interested in competing at the varsity level in the fall season.
