NYCRI is a volunteer run organization. We have only one full-time paid position, our head coach, and rely on our members and their families to operate.

Volunteer Options

There are many opportunities to volunteer your time at NYCRI. Below is just a sample. If you feel like you would like to volunteer in another way, please contact the Head Coach or a Board Representative. Each parent is asked to volunteer for one fundraiser or event per year or another comparable position. Each master is expected to participate in the annual masters-run fundraiser and take on a boathouse responsibility. These are posted at the boathouse and sign-up happens once per session. Masters are also encouraged to serve on a committee.

• Fundraiser - Car Wash, Rent-A-Rower, Casino Night
• Event - Fall BBQ, Spring Banquet
• Registration Coordination (can be done on your own time)
• Regatta Help (this does not include the food table)
